This club has been approved! Their assigned club room is the home ec workshop, and Akira saw that Komaeda was on the member roster and decided he can't join.
The club will be provided a closet with a single key for the lock, two computers with speakers/keyboard/mouse but no extra monitors, one extra broken computer they can scavenge for parts, and plenty of students dropping off their broken electronics they've given up on getting to work again. The club will share materials already present in the workshop, which includes scrap metal and plenty of outlets. There isn't an area that stays cool for the most part, but they will be provided one standing fan. I don't know what else they need. Computers are expensive? This is why the school can't afford dorms, it's because students are asking for brand new top of the line 1999 computers.

There is a lot of issue with this, and more things needing to be resolved. → Nanami has plot clues over the side on the 4th floor where it is the only area to reach into. It is locked but NPCs can go through it, they complain it is hot and to her will sometimes smell of rotten egg. It is a storage area.
If Nanami asks around for how to access the rooftop, she'll learn that the stairs up is located on the right wing of the fourth floor, which she currently isn't able to access. If she presses her ear against the door, she may occasionally hear sounds of shuffling as if made by something very large and very heavy moving around, and will have the distinct feeling of being watched despite there being a solid door in the way. At times, she may catch the faint smell of rotten egg.
Something appears to exist on the right wing of the fourth floor, and she may assume that until more is investigated and this is dealt with, safe passage to the rooftop won't be possible.
Nanami finds a 1997 Macintosh PowerBook G3 sitting on top of her locker, with an empty Monomi plushie sitting on top of it, with the little black cat on top of the adjacent locker two seconds from biting Monomi by the ear and dragging her off, but it will run away when Nanami approaches. The laptop doesn't contain anything more than a simple word document editor, image editor, and music player, but Chihiro would be able to upgrade it with his skills. Like Nanami's laptop, it comes with a power cord and there is no internet connection, and for whatever reason it runs painfully slowly overnight from 6PM to 6AM.
